i can't even express how powerful this song has been in my heart these past few days. even through all the "crap" that we consider "crap", God still reigns in our lives, as he always has. God is so stinkin powerful, He deserves so much more than i ever even think to give Him... dang! I mean, sometimes i try to think of what I can do to express to Him how much He rocks, how much He is so loved, and deserving and appreciated, but i can't... it's just so intense. I guess its true that all Pappa God really wants is my heart. He wants our hearts, how simple, how gentle, how powerful... how Pure.
I'm going to gainesville tonight to record with my friend, Sofola ("Fola") tomorrow morning. I can't wait! it's just something simple, nothing all professional and all, but it's a song for God, and i bet He'd like to hear it...:)
Um, idk what else to write for now. just sittin' here, waiting patiently for the Lord, waiting to hear Him speak.

give or take a few variations, but i think it gets the point across. i've been reading more, and seeing more of the Heart that I am created to be with... the heart that i am being called closer to each moment of my life...
it's a beautiful thing...
I saw a break in the clouds yesterday, and it was one of the most beautiful things i had ever seen. the whole sky was clouded, and then i could see the light struggling to push through the massive clouds, but then, as if the clouds knew what the sun was thinking, they opened up a tiny space in the sky just big enough for the light to shine through. like a pathway, and the clouds were so beautiful..... (okay i just lost my train of though bc some random guy asked me a question... no worries...)
i continue to be challenged, in ways that seem too difficult sometimes, but it's all making me rely on God more... so it's worth it... the "suffering" if-you-will...
